Meet Bono
He was a cat-dog for sure. He loved to snuggle and knew what that meant. Bono was well known for sticking his tongue out, it became a part of his personality!
Bono passed away in April 2023, he was the favorite in the family. As a special birthday gift to his wife, my client wanted to have a portrait made to honor his legacy.
I love drawing tabby cats! The fur is so much fun to play around with. Over the years, I would change up the colors I’d use just to see how much more realistic I can make the fur look.
This one had a little bit more orange in the fur so I incorporated some of that color as an undertone. I’m quite happy with the results!
