Meet Remy

Remy is very loving, smart, and sweet. She loves her family and especially her belly rubs. Her favorite activity is going on long walks and then playing in the yard.

Her portrait was a commission done in a small 4”x4” size. She was carefully drawn using strictly colored pencils.

The eyes were quite difficult to work with, there was so much detail that I wanted to incorporate. But being that small, I only had so much room. I do love how they turned out in the end!

I ended up using about 15 different pencils to create that blend of fur. A mix of gold, red, yellow, and brown to bring forth a sense of depth in such a small size.
